Jan Jagemann

Entrepreneur and expert in specialist recruitment of freelance experts, deputy chairman of the Bundesverband für selbständige Wissensarbeit

Jan Jagemann, born in 1974, began his career in the Danish A.P: Moller Group, with stations in Copenhagen, Italy and Hong Kong.

After moving into specialist recruitment in 1999, Jan has been closely involved in the development of freelance recruitment in the IT and consulting environment over the last 27 years.

Jan has held various management positions for Harvey Nash and Hays during this time, before becoming co-founder and CEO of one of the leading companies for hiring highly specialized freelance experts in 2008. Since the sale of a majority shareholding in 2021, Jan has remained on the advisory board and continues to be involved as Deputy Chairman of the German Association for Independent Knowledge Work.
