Jörn Freynick

General Secretary at BAGSV & Head of Policy at VGSD

Jörn Freynick is Head of Policy at the Verband der Gründer und Selbstständigen Deutschland (VGSD) and General Secretary of the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Selbstständigenverbände (BAGSV), a network of self-employed associations. He took over the policy role at VGSD in November 2023 and became General Secretary of the BAGSV in March 2025. Before that he led the Mittelstandsallianz at the BVMW (2022-2023) and was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament from 2017 to 2022.
