Darinka Burovska

Business Coach for Solopreneurs & Founders

For 10 years, I worked as a product manager and consultant across multiple tech startups, from proof-of-concept launches to growth-stage scale-ups. The external success was there, but I witnessed talented professionals (including myself) burning out despite doing everything "right."

This led me to become a personal development and career coach, guiding nearly 100 individuals through professional transitions for over 3 years. Yet something was still missing: the deeper practices that create lasting transformation, not just surface-level strategy.

I found that missing piece through intensive Vipassana meditation training and 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Thailand, which turned out to be the most profound personal transformation I've ever been through. It changed not just how I live, but how I coach.

Now, I bring this rare combination to my work: a decade of startup pragmatism, extensive coaching experience, and authentic contemplative practices, not as separate disciplines, but as an integrated approach.

I work as a business mentor and coach at the intersection of personal growth and business performance, helping freelancers and solopreneurs access what traditional business advice can't reach: the internal alignment, mindset, and energy that determine the difference between sustainable success and chronic burnout.

Authenticity Is Your Client Acquisition Strategy: Stop Selling. Start Attracting

June 12, 2026 11:10

You've been told to "network more," "post consistently," "build your personal brand." You're exhausted, and the pipeline still isn't where you want it. What if the problem isn't your strategy - but the internal state you're executing it from? There's a clear difference between freelancers who chase clients and those who consistently attract the right ones. And it starts from the inside.

This talk challenges the "always be selling" culture that's burning out freelancers and solopreneurs - and replaces it with a counter-intuitive truth: authenticity isn't a soft skill. It's your most powerful client acquisition strategy.

When you stop performing confidence you don't feel and start showing up with genuine care for your client's actual problem, something shifts - in the conversation, in the dynamic, and in your results.

This isn't about being less professional. It's about being more effective by being more you.

The right clients find you. The conversations feel easy. The collaborations become meaningful. The trust builds itself.
